“The Opera is a must see experience if you are anywhere near Verona. We got the cheapest tickets and sat on the stone steps with the help of a cushion (definitely bring or buy something to sit on!). The Opera won’t start until sundown so 9pm in August and is around 3 hours long. We didn’t stay for the whole thing because of having to get up early the next day but we enjoyed the experience immensely and would go again if we were ever near.”
